1) Discover the most beautiful beaches.
They stretch along the Costa degli Dei, one of the most beautiful tourist resorts in Calabria.
White sand and a wonderful, crystal-clear sea make them resemble the most famous tropical locations in every way.

2) Visit the historic centre.
Strolling through the picturesque alleys of the centre will take you back in time.
Enjoy an ice cream in the sun, climb the colourful steps at Largo Rota, reach the iconic Cathedral, and admire the ocean from the 3 panoramic balconies in the old town.

3) Visit the Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola.
Perched on a rocky promontory above the beaches, it can be reached by climbing 300 steps carved into the rock.
The view from up there is incredible: it sweeps from the Aeolian Islands to Sicily and will leave you speechless.

4) Try the typical cuisine.
The highlight is fileja alla 'Nduja, a twisted durum wheat pasta topped with its majesty the spicy Tropea sausage.
Finish on a sweet note: You haven't really been to Tropea if you haven't eaten the truffle, a ball of chocolate and walnut ice cream with a liquid chocolate heart dusted with cocoa powder.
